Rohit Shetty’s horror comedy Golmaal Again, which is the fourth film in his popular Golmaal series will soon cross the Rs 200 crore mark at the box office. The film managed to earn Rs 62 lakh on its third Friday (November 10). With this, Golmaal Again now stands at a total of Rs 198.58 crore. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the latest Box Office Collection of the film, as he wrote, “#GolmaalAgain is expected to cross ₹ 200 cr over the weekend… [Week 4] Fri 62 lakhs. Total: ₹ 198.58 cr. India biz. (sic)”

Although it’s facing a screen crunch, thanks to Sonakshi Sinha, Sidharth Malhotra and Akshaye Khanna starrer, Ittefaq and Marvel movie, Thor: Ragnarok, Golmaal Again is somehow managing to get the cash registers ringing.

Since it’s the weekend, we can surely expect a good growth in the collections and by the end of Sunday, hopefully, Golmaal Again should end up making Rs 200 crore. Earlier in the day, we told you that Golmaal Again managed to beat a record that was held by Aamir Khan for three years, as it outdid the lifetime collections of Rajkumar Hirani’s PK in the Gujarat-Saurashtra belt. While PK earned Rs 33 crore in that region, Golmaal Again managed to outdo that record by making Rs 35 crore there.

Horror comedy is a genre that has not been explored in India so much, but with such a phenomenal business, Golmaal Again has those definitely opened that door for the filmmakers. Apart from Ajay, Golmaal Again also features Parineeti Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Kunal Kemmu, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Tabu in pivotal roles.
