Ishqbaaz starts with Anika(Surbhi Chandna) taunting Shivaay(Nakuul Mehta) on changing his costume once again. Shivaay takes his revenge by poking Anika on getting conscious about her costume. He says she should have hired his designer but she wanted to use her chawl friend. Anika leaves Shivaay to the mercy of some girls who cannot stop themselves from flirting with the handsome sardaar. Om tells Gauri that she cannot risk believing him once again not atleast after the letter he wrote. Om is shocked and he says he wrote no letter. Gauri refuses to believe him and asks him to stop lieing. Om proposes Gauri by coming down on his knees and says that he cannot live without her. He says he nevet knew what she meant to him but now he does. Gauri rwfuses to budge and says it is too late for him to say anything. Some women advise advise Anika to beare of her age. Anika asks them if they have no work other than being bothered about her. Rudra meets Ajay who is walking away to get Gauri for the engagement. Rudra warns him against calling Gauri his fiance. Rudra indirectly tells him that Gauri is his bhabhi amd his brother wife. Gauri laughs at Om when he tells her that she is still his wife. She asks him if he is trying to make use of that relationship which was never acknowledged by him. Rudra tells Anika that they need to be careful as there are 55people in the marriage and they are just 5. Anika shows Rudra how his brother is busy flirting with the girls. Anika asks Shivaay what he is upto after she shoos away the girls. Shivaay teases her for looking old and says that because she eats unhealthy she would soon look this old while he would still be young as he eats onky organic. He tells Anika that she looks like a bhoothni. Anika starts wondering if she would actually be loathed by her husband after being old.
