Udaan starts with Suraj(Vijayendra Kumeria) coming out of his hiding but soon hears some guards coming in and hides. The guards miss seeing Suraj and Chakor(Meera Deosthale) panics as she asks Kavya if she remembers how the person she saw looked. Kavya describes and Chakor is reminded of Suraj. Chakor worries that all this is just a trap set by Rannvijay to lure Suraj here. Preeti complains if being hungry and Chakor goes on to get food for Preeti. Suraj somehow gets to the kitchen and hides as he hears footsteps and hides. It is Chakor and she goes around serving food. Suraj misses seeing her for sometime. Chakor climbs a stool to get a the achaar and by the diya her dupatta catches fire. Suraj is alerted. He runs to her and throws her duppatta away as he takes her into his arms. Chakor is elated to see him. They have a moment, while a guard runs to inform Rannvijay about the fire. Suraj puts out the fire and scolds Chakor for being careless. Chakor hears Rannvijay coming in, she hides Suraj. Chakor herself goes on to distract Rannvijay. Paakhi searches around for Kasturi and Bhuvan but do not find them. Paakhi is kidnapped by Imli’s men. Imli threatens Paakhi and scares her. Chakor shares her worries with Kavya and Kavya apologizes for screaming. Chakor feels worried that all this is but a trap set for Suraj. Preeti gets Suraj inside and Suraj fights with Chakor. Kavya tells Chakor that it is better to keep Suraj here for the night as Rannvijay might not sleep at all tonight. Suraj and Chakor left alone now, Suraj tries to console his wife. They have some romantic moments together.Next morning they are woken by Rannvijay banging the door. Paakhi wakes up to some guards in her house and also Imli. Imli threatens Paakhi with dire consequences if she speaks about what she saw. Imli tells her that those are guards who will keep an eye on her. Rannvijay threatens to break the door down
