The release of Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi’s Baadshaho

The week saw the release of Ajay Devgn’s Baadshaho. The multistarrer failed to win accolades from critics but earned a solid Rs 12.03 crore on its first day. BollywoodLife in its review of the film stated, “Overall, the film is an opportunity lost, despite Ajay Devgn’s aura, Emraan Hashmi’s charisma and Ileana D’Cruz’s great performance, it’s a botched up job at best.” You can read the full review here.

Rajkummar Rao signed opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for Anil Kapoor’s Fanney Khan

Intially, rumours were doing the rounds that R Madhavan was to do the role but it’s now official that Rajkkumar Roa will be on board for this project. He was informed on Tuesday by producer Prernaa Arora whilst shooting for Bose in Poland “We’re friends and have been discussing films for a while,“ said the actor about collaborating with Prernaa. The actor revealed he was very excited to be working with legends. “She’s the most beautiful woman in the world. It’s a great story, there’s a lot of love, and the content is not just entertaining but is detailed and different.There will be lots of workshops and readings once I am back,“ revealed the actor further. Dangal wreaks havoc at China box office

Everywhere it goes, Dangal is minting money like crazy and Hong Kong wasn’t an exception at all. The official figures of the film are as such, “The reported collection of Dangal is US$ 1.11 Mn at the HK & Macau box office so far. With an excellent word of mouth in the market, Thursday of the Second Week (US$ 109 K) is even higher than the opening day (US$ 85 K)! (Thu – US$ 85 K, Fri – US$ 109 K, Sat – US$ 215 K, Sun – US$ 215 K, Mon – US$ 94 K, Tue – 107 K, Wed – 99 K, Thu – US$ 109 K). Dangal Overseas Total = US$ 215.03 Mn. Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan still the highest paid actors

Forbes has released a new list of the top highest paid Indian actors and to the surprise of a few, it is Shah Rukh Khan who is leading the list beating the likes of Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan and earn the top spot. Surprisingly both SRK and Salman Khan (who gets the second rank) had disappointed at the box office with Jab Harry Met Sejal and Tubelight failing to do wonders. On the other hand, Akshay had two hits this year (Jolly LLB 2 and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha), while Aamir Khan is fresh off the mega success of Bollywood’s highest grossing movie, Dangal.
