Since past few days, there has been a demand from viewers of Ishqbaaz to bring back Dil Bole Oberoi. The spin-off that started in February wrapped up pretty fast as the makers decided to make Ishqbaaz a one-hour show. They felt a one-hour show would show more of the brotherly bonding, which is the highlight of the show. The fact that the merged Oberoi Special episode got good TRPs also prompted the move. But fans want DBO back as they feel Omkara (Kunal Jaisingh) and Gauri (Shrenu Parikh) are not getting enough space to build their story and romance in Ishqbaaz with lot of focus on Rudra (Leenesh Mattoo) – Bhavya (Mansi Srivastava) and now, TejNi i.e. Tej and Jhanvi, their parents! On the other hand, the spin-off of Kumkum Bhagya came later. But Kundali Bhagya was a winner from day one securing a place in the top five. In the subsequent weeks, it is going from strength to strength with TRP in Urban Areas bettering that of Kumkum Bhagya. The new characters, fast-paced narrative and freshness has wowed viewers. The fact that unlike Ishqbaaz, Kumkum Bhagya was more watched in the rural areas helped. Kundali Bhagya is doing well in rural markets too.

However, fans feel that Dil Bole Oberoi was a better spin-off. We guess it is due to the sizzling chemistry between Kunal and Shrenu. Stay tuned to Bollywood life for more scoop and updates…
