Kangana Ranaut’s next film, Simran is going to be out this year in September and the trailer of the film just dropped by. And well, we ought to say, Kangana is at her finest best in this one too! The actress has always chosen to play characters that are hatke and Simran is no exception to that. In the trailer you see how Kangana’s character deals with all societal stereotypes. In fact, at the trailer launch today, director Hansal Mehta even confirmed that both Kangana and him have done this film because there are no stereotypes.

Reports suggest that Simran is based on a true story. It is inspired by the story of Sandeep Kaur, an Indian, who is currently serving her jail term in the US, due to her notorious bank heists. After engaging in gambling and losing a lot of money, Sandeep’s inability to pay off the debts resulted in her resorting to robbery.
