Njandukalude Nattil Oru Idavela First Look: Nivin Pauly Is Spot On As The London Migrant Depressed With Life

Nivin Pauly is an expert in playing slacker roles. We have seen him excel in such parts in movies like Thattatinu Marayathu, 1983 and Premam. Now he will return to play such a character in his upcoming movie, Njandukalude Nattil Oru Idavela (An Interval in the land of Crabs). The movie is directed by debutante Althaf, who had a small role in Premam as well as a supporting role in this year’s Sakhavu (both of which starring Nivin Pauly in the lead). The first poster of the movie is out, and it has Nivin Pauly with his head resting on a desk and he is looking depressed over something. There is a quote too which says ‘London Jeevitham Enne Vallathe Thalarthiyirikunnu’ (Life in London has made me weak).

But don’t go by the overall depressing mood of the poster. Njandukalude Nattil Oru Idavela is a comedy and it will bring some of the Premam gang back, as Krishnashankar, Siju Wilson and Sharafuddeen will join Nivin Pauly in the movie. Ahaana Krishna, who made her debut in Njan Steve Lopez, and model Aishwarya Lekshmi are the heroines in the movie. Other in the cast involve Saiju Kurup, Shanti Krishna and Dileesh Pothan.

Nivin Pauly has a lot of interesting movies up his kitty like Geetu Mohandas’ Moothon, Shyamaprasad’s Hey Jude (also starring Tamil actress Trisha making her Malayalam debut here), Dhyan Sreenivasan’s Love Action Drama (Also starring Nayanthara), Roshan Andrews’ Kayamkulam Kochunni. He is also making his proper Tamil Debut with Richie.
