After battling for weeks and weeks with under grueling situations, Shweta Mehta from Neha Dhupia’s team has rebelliously walked away with the title of Mtv Roadies Rising. Yes! Shweta, who has consistently displayed her grit and dedication since the beginning, made sure she leaves no stone unturned to win this championship in the finale task and there she is….proving she is here to rise and shine! In the wake of being declared winner, an excited Shweta stated, “I had auditioned for Roadies thrice in the past but did not make it to the show. But failing thrice did not dampen my spirit. I took the challenge head- on and auditioned again, only with the intention of winning the show. And I did win it! This definitely feels amazing. Roadies is a cult show and being associated with such a show and winning it feels out of the world. Neha ma’am wanted a girl to win this season and I feel proud that I didn’t disappoint her.”

Let’s not forget, MTV Roadies has been all about bringing alive the warrior inside the contestants! The theme resounded with the show’s name, concentrating on rising from one’s ashes and battling the inner demons. This time, paying a tribute to history, valiant fights and forgotten martyrs, the Roadies flagged off their journey from Jhansi and moved towards Gwalior, Agra, Amroha, Panipat, coming full circle at the definitive battleground – Kurukshetra. And of course, how can we forget the inspiring mentors – Rannvijay Singha, Neha Dhupia, Prince Narula and Nikhil Chinappa, who kept pushing their respective gangs to fight it out without holding back!

With Shweta winning this season, she has indeed set a bright example for all the young ladies out there to chase their dreams and remain fearless. Kudos to you, woman!
