Baahubali 2 debuts in Taiwan market with a decent Rs 28.50 lakhs in the opening weekend

You might think the Baahubali 2 fever may have died down but looks like it has now taken over Taiwan! The box office collection of Taiwan has come and it is pretty decent. The film’s Opening Weekend collections are Rs 28.50 lakhs. It’s a pretty good number that promises growth. Industry movie tracker Ramesh Bala took to his Twitter to share this news. He tweeted, “#Baahubali2 debuts with a decent US$ 44,000 [₹ 28.50 Lacs ] from 13 locations in #Taiwan for the Opening weekend..” As  you can see, the numbers are pretty good, especially when the buzz hasn’t been as fervent as it was here and in many other countries, during it’s big summer release! The film has raked in a phenomenal number so far and looks like with Taiwan’s release, it’ll further add more bucks in its kitty.

The first part of Baahubali didn’t make good money in China. Despite the reviews received by the first part, trade analysts are certain that the sequel will create magic at the box office. The film’s success made Prabhas, India’s rising superstar overnight! People have been talking about him, wanting to see more of his work, heck, women can’t stop swooning at the sight of him and men want to build themselves to be like him! That’s the kind of effect his role has had in the Indian audience. Not to forget SS Rajamouli’s phenomenal vision and excellent visuals in the movie that was as good as any Hollywood movie.
