Though the cast and crew of Baahubali 2 had a special Premiere in Dubai yesterday, there will be another major red-carpet premiere that will be happening in Mumbai on April 27. The movie, which is releasing this Friday, is having a special screening for the stars as well as the close associates of the makers of Baahubali 2 before the acid test on Friday. We all know that the movie is going to be epic, and we have ample proof of that from the trailers and posters. So keeping in mind the grandeur of the movie, the makers have even made the invitation card of the premiere in a regal style, as per a report in Mumbai Mirror.

The report states that the invitations that were sent out by Dharma Productions on behalf of its owner Karan Johar, came in a hardbound case, that had several layers. The top part has a golden matinee-like plaque above the film’s title that has the words ‘World Premier’ emblazoned across it. The invite has a second layer that informs the guests to come to the theatre in traditional Indian attire, which is quite a refreshing change of scenery from the usual boring bow-and-tie affair (unless you are Ranveer Singh, for whom no such rules apply). Then comes a placard with a coloured sketch of the first Baahubali’s iconic scene, of Sivagami’s hand, holding up a baby Baahubali, while the rest of her body is immersed under the water.

The best part is reserved in the last layer that has a personalised letter from Karan Johar. Written in golden ink, the letter reads, “SS Rajamouli is not only a master craftsman but also a visionary. His film-making majestically blends wonderful storytelling with cinematic technology. Producers Shobu and Prasad and entire team of Bahubali have worked relentlessly and passionately for 5 years and for all of us at Dharma, it is a matter of great pride to be a part of their labour.”
