We all know that popular director David Dhawan is making a sequel to his ’90s hit Judwaa, which originally starred Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Rambha, along with Shakti Kapoor, Kader Khan, Anupam Kher and Satish Shah. Salman Khan won’t return to the sequel in the main lead capacity, instead, he would rather be happy in a cameo appearance. Getting into Salman’s shoes will be Varun Dhawan, who will be seen for the first time in a double role. In place of Karisma Kapoor and Rambha, we will have Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez.
Though the movie will be quite different from the original, Judwaa 2 will be using a couple of Anu Malik tracks from the first Judwaa, like Oonchi Hai Building. A fan club of Varun Dhawan shared a video on their Insta timeline. The video shows Varun and Taapsee rehearse their dance moves to the recreated track. It is a surprise, since the original song was more of a fun number and not a dance track. But going by the below video, it looks like a dance track in the movie. Jacqueline Fernandez is missing from the rehearsal that is happening in London, though it is said that she will join the rehearsals later. Here’s the video…
While Taapsee’s last release Naam Shabana saw her in an action packed avatar, Varun is currently riding high on the success of his last release Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
