Earlier we had mentioned about a report on how Deepika Padukone is not being considered as one of the female leads in Shah Rukh Khan’s untitled movie that’s directed by Aanand L Rai. We also heard other speculations that Anushka Sharma was in talks with the makers to replace Deepika Padukone in the movie. Anushka Sharma is currently shooting with Shah Rukh Khan for the Imtiaz Ali movie.

However, as per a report in PinkVilla, Anushka Sharma’s spokesperson denied the news and said she has not been approached for the role. It does make sense because Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma are already doing a movie now, and seeing them again in SRK’s next movie will reduce the curiosity about their pairing. Since Katrina Kaif is reportedly being signed as the second heroine, we don’t want another Jab Tak Hai Jaan like situation do we?

A report in DNA also mentioned that if not Anushka Sharma, the makers were also eyeing Sonam Kapoor to take on the role. It is surely a great idea, since Sonam Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan have never acted before. Sonam has acted with Salman Khan in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, so the age difference is not much of a matter here.

Shah Rukh Khn is playing a dwarf in the Aanand L Rai movie, and it is scheduled to release on December 2018. The actor will also be seen in a cameo appearance in Salman Khan’s Tubelight, where he is reportedly playing a magician in a crucial sequence.
