Kartik Aryan, who is popularly known for his monologue in Pyaar Ka Punchnama is all set to star in Atithii in London. The actor, who was last seen in Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 will be playing the male lead role in Atithi in London which is the sequel to Ajay Devgn and Konkona Sen Sharma starrer Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge. The film will be releasing this year on May 5, 2017. Although, Atithii Tum Ka Jaaoge didn’t do wonders at the box office, the storyline managed to woo the audience. Will Atithii in London be equally impressive? Let’s wait and watch. Apart from Kartik, the movie will also star Paresh Rawal in the lead role.

Initially there were reports that Diana Penty would be playing the female lead character in the movie. However, later there were reports that confirmed that Lisa had bagged the role. But due to some weird reasons, Lisa backed out of the film. Abhishek Pathak, who is the film maker of the film was extremely upset with actress’ strange behavior. He was quoted saying, “We had locked Lisa for the role, exchanged contracts and even got her visa ready. The set was ready in Filmalaya studio but we got a call from her manager ten days before the schedule that Lisa wasn’t interested in doing the film anymore. Suddenly, I hear from someone that she’s getting married which is why she can’t do our film. We had everything ready, from visas for the entire crew to locations. Now all that money is down the drain. It is now learnt that the director has decided to cast a new face for the lead role in Atithii in London. Hmm, we wonder who that is!
