Kareena Kapoor Khan has been THE rockstar of 2016. Be it her professional or personal life, she has been rocking it all. The diva had two films in 2016 and did really well at the box office. Apart from that, she also became a mommy to baby Taimur Ali Khan and throughout her pregnancy, she owned it! From giving maternity fashion goals to making appearances still a day before her delivery, Bebo was a total star! With the kind of panache and bold approach she had towards her work and personal life, we’re literally blown away. The diva has surely set a trend by breaking stereotypes and not just in her movie but in real life as well.

Kareena made Arjun don the high heels in Ki & Ka!

This was the start of her awesomeness in 2016. She featured in R Balki’s film with Arjun Kapoor and well, you know the rest. Unlike being a typical housewife to a man and supporting his career, she had a role reversal. You can see result of the same. She made him wear the heels, after all.

When the pregnancy rumours began 

Of course, after her return from the London trip, a lot of pregnancy reports started doing the rounds. A series of pics were floating on social media fueled the rumours. We were the first ones to let you know that the diva was pregnant.

Saifeena broke the good news 

Saif Ali Khan confirmed the news, “My wife and I would like to announce that we are expecting our first child in December. We would like to thank our well wishers for their blessings and support and also the press for their discretion and patience.”

Bebo held her own she was questioned to go on a break 

Thanks to the asinine questions asked with respect to her taking a break from work due to pregnancy infuriated her. She stated, “I’m pregnant, not a corpse. And what maternity break? It’s the most normal thing on earth to produce a child. It is high time the media back off, and stop treating me any different than I ever was. Anybody who is bothered shouldn’t work with me… but my work goes on as is, like always. Stop making it a national casualty. We are in 2016, not in the 18th century. Probably, even at that time, people were way more civilised and normal than the way the media is behaving and speculating now.”

Saif and Kareena’s first babymoon 

After they announced the good news, the couple took a mini vacay or in other words babymoon. The Nawabs were spotted at international airport as they headed to Dubai.

When the news of her ouster from Veere Di Wedding made headlines 

We found out that the actress was not leaving the project.  A source told us, “After Kareena Kapoor Khan spoke to producers – Rhea (Kapoor) and Ekta (Kapoor), they discussed and have come to a common understanding. Kareena will be a part of the film, but she will start shooting only after her delivery. The actress doesn’t want her bump to be seen in the film and wasn’t feeling well too. So the producers have decided to wait. Sonam Kapoor is also ready to wait coz they want Kareena to be a part of the film.”

Walked the ramp flaunting her baby bump 

Kareena is Bollywood’s first actress to have walked the ramp with a baby bump. It was unexpected but she did look regal. She walked at the grand finale of Lakme Fashion Week for Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

Bebo admitted she wants a girl child 

The actress stated at an event that she wanted a child girl. “It’s very intrusive when people ask me if it’s a boy or a girl. I am a girl and I would love to have a girl. What is the difference? I have probably done more for my parents than a son would do,” said the actress.

Had a rocking 36th birthday with family 

Kareena was very clear about the idea of celebrating her birthday with just a few close ones. Her loving family made sure they spare nothing to make her 36th special. Hubby Saif Ali Khan hosted an intimate party at their residence. It was a complete family affair with just the Kapoors and Khans in attendance.

She slayed in a thigh high slit outfit 

The actress was spotted with hubby Saif Ali Khan at her brother Ranbir Kapoor and aunt Rima Jain’s birthday party. She wore an olive green one off shoulder gown with a side slit. We like the way the actress chose to accesorise her look with her otherwise plain garment.  Her simple hairdo was further adding the beauty to this already shining lady for the evening. Seems like Bebo has taken the stylish pregnancy tag way to seriously as she is never disappointing us with her fashion statements.

Kareena put her past aside and had a chat about babies with Shahid 

At an awards event, the Shahid and Kareena bumped into each other and they had a pretty good conversation. Kapoor told a leading entertainment daily, “Yes, I did bump into her and it was heartwarming to see her fully pregnant, because I’ve just been through (that experience of) having a baby. I felt happy for her. I asked her when she was due, and she told me it is sometime next month. She also asked about Misha. So it was very nice.”

Made for a striking Begum on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Bride with Saif 

Kareena featured on the cover of Bride Bazaar magazine along with hubby Saif Ali Khan and they both looked simply stunning! The Nawab and his Begum shot for the Harpers Bazaar Bride cover a couple of months ago. You can see panache ooze from this mag cover.

When she rocked the red carpet look at Golden Rose Awards 

At Golden Rose awards, Kareena made a dazzling appearance where she wore off shoulder red Gauri and Nainika long gown with a cape look. Boy, did she look gorgeous.

Bebo blessed with baby Taimur 

The couple announced the birth of their son Taimur, “We are very pleased to share with you all the wonderful news about the birth of our son: Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on December 20, 2016. We would like to thank the media for the understanding and support they have given us over the last 9 months, and of course especially our fans and well wishers for their continued affection. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all…With love, Saif & Kareena.”

The couple made their first appearance with their baby boy 

After all the hullabaloo around the real/fake baby pics going viral, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan officially made their first appearance together with baby Taimur Ali Khan. Usually we have celebs keeping their babies guarded away from the paparazzi, at least for the first few months if not for long. But Kareena and Saif definitely don’t seem to go with that old long belief for this is the first time a celebrity couple has brought their baby out in the limelight within two days of delivery.

A Merry Christmas in red 

Kareena Kapoor Khan always has her Christmas date with her girl gang that includes her sister Karisma Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Amrita Arora and others. This year too, despite the fact that she had just become a mum a few days back, Kareena was unwilling to ditch her friends. She attended the Christmas party as a new mommy and took away all the limelight!
