One of the reasons why I love Weekend Ka Vaar with Salman Khan is that most contestants get busted. Something like that happened in the previous episode of Bigg Boss 10. While Gaurav Chopra was certainly questioned about his disguise as Einstein in the house during the nominations task, yet another theft by Om Swami was exposed. Remember when he hid fruits in the jail bathroom and then went on a hunger strike so housemates would sympathise with him? Well, a viewer questioned him about this and the housemates were shocked AF! Suddenly everything fell in place and they realised why Swami kept visiting the jail every now and then.
While that was one of the most hilarious things that happened, the other one was when Salman revealed how Gaurav fell in a pit that he dug up for others. When the actor couldn’t justify further, he just sulked and did not speak at all for the rest of the episode. Gaurav and Swami weren’t the only ones who were busted. Salman Khan also revealed who voted for whom in the democracy task. And this surely added to all the drama in the house. Salman Khan also spoke to the contestants about Lopamudra Raut’s accusations on Swami about eyeing her inappropriately. When Swami started to comment on her clothes, Salman shut him up by telling him that he has a rotten and regressive mind. In the upcoming episode, the Colors family will be seen mingling with the contestants in the house. Adaa Khan, Meera Deosthale, Vijayendra Kumeria, Karanvir Bohra and Rubina Dilaik will make the episode more dramatic. They will play a few fun games with the contestants and Swami will actually lift Adaa Khan while grooving with her on Naagin dance. Gaurav and Bani, too, put up a fun act with Lopamudra Raut. Though Mouni Roy doesn’t enter the house, she does set the stage on fire with the other contestants after they leave the house.
Well, in case you didn’t know, Mouni happens to be Gaurav’s ex-girlfriend and the actress avoided entering the house to get away from the awkward situation of seeing your ex again. Salman Khan, too, will get an experience of acting in daily soaps and it will be fun watching him enact a daily soap scene. And of course, the eviction also happens tonight. Lopamudra is the new captain of the house defeating Bani and Manveer
With the captaincy task getting extended into the wee hours of the morning, the housemates wake up to realize that Lopa has been crowned as the new captain of the house. Swamiji condemns Manveer’s defeat and calls him ‘Kamzor’ instead of ‘Bahubali’. Manu also tells Manveer that he could have easily snatched the ring from Lopa and become the captain when Bani got hurt initially.
Priyanka Jagga calls Lopa ‘make up ki dukaan aur meetha pakvaan
While having a candid conversation with Bani, Gaurav tells her that he won’t be able to survive inside the house if she gets evicted. Bani feels elated and appreciates Gaurav’s honesty. Later in the day, Bigg Boss asks Lopa to choose any five contestants who she wants to punish supported by a valid reason. She picks Priyanka, Swami Om, Bani, Gaurav, and Nitibha. Priyanka and Om Swami, however, disapprove Lopa’s decision and jump down her throat. Priyanka threatens Lopa and tells her that she is trying to seek revenge by taking her name and she will strike back when the time is right. She also calls Lopa ‘make up ki dukaan aur meetha pakvaan’ pointing towards her makeup addiction. Lopa gives a snappy comeback and tells Priyanka that she has no rights to judge her.
Nitibha gets a handwritten letter from her mother as a reward
In the evening, Bigg Boss gives Priyanka, Om Swami, Bani, Gaurav, and Nitibha a chance to turn their punishment into a reward by grabbing gift boxes that will pop out of a cylinder following a blast. All five contestants are asked to stand in front of 5 different cylinders and wait for their turn. First one to grab the gift box is Nitibha and she gets a handwritten letter from her mother as a reward.
Gaurav chooses Bani for a ‘friendly date’
Next one to grab the box is Gaurav who gets to go on a date with a girl contestant of his choice. He chooses Bani and announces that he will go on a ‘friendly date’ with her. Bani, Swamiji, and Priyanka miss grabbing their gift boxes and become liable for punishment.
Bani refuses to go to fail with Om Swami
Lopa is asked to put two contestants in jail while the third one is required to hold a placard with ‘Lopa, I am sorry’ written on it and shadow Lopa for the entire time. Lopa is quick to make a decision and asks Swami and Bani to go in jail and Priyanka to hold the placard. However, Bani refuses to share jail space with Swamiji because of the comments he made about her mother. She tells Lopa that she will roam around with ‘Lopa, I am sorry’ placard but won’t go to jail with Swami under any circumstances. She tells Lopa to put Priyanka in jail instead but even Priyanka dodges the punishment citing personal reasons. Lopa gets into a fix and tries her best to balance the situation but Priyanka, Swamiji, and Bani refuse to budge.
