Following a Kevin Smith theme from last week, this week we take some time to fire up Mallrats off the ol’ Netflix queue. This movie is considered by many as a classic (including myself). As Kevin Smith’s first effort in the View Askew universe, this movie holds a special place. We are introduced to Smith’s quirky humor as well as the talents of what were then new actors. Recognize Ben Affleck. How could you not. The dude is like 6’5″. And who is that? Stan Lee baby! Most of the cast would make reappearances in future Smith movies including Shannon Daughtey (Jay and Silent Bob strike back). This is a sit back and not think kind of movie. Hope you enjoy.
