What kind of materials can I use for making hair bows?

How to Make Hair Bows

This past month a few customers emailed me asking this question so I thought it would be helpful to share the answer with you, in case you were wondering too.  While the majority of bows are made with ribbon (typically grosgrain or satin), you’d might be surprised to know that there are dozens of types of materials you can also use.  I’ve made bows with denim jeans, old t-shirts, scrap cotton fabric, chiffon, and just about anything I can find for really cheap at yard sales!   The best part using these different fabrics is that it’s VERY cheap to create bows this way.

In my course “Secrets to Flower Bow Success”  you’ll find lots of flower bows you can make with scrap fabrics you probably already have lying around your craft room or in your closet.  When you grab the full DVD course, it also comes with INSTANT online access so you’ll be able to start creating even before your DVD arrives in your mailbox.

If you’ve wanted to get started making bows without spending a bunch on supplies, you’ll want to check out “Secrets to Flower Bow Success.”  In just a few minutes you’ll be creating beautiful denim flowers or maybe even some layered flower bows from your old t-shirts.  What a great way to recycle old clothes and create something beautiful!
