Directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, '12th Fail' depicts the journey of Manoj, a determined youth from Chambal striving to fulfil his dream of becoming an IPS officer. The Film chronicles his struggles, resilience, and the hurdles he encounters during the fiercely competitive Union Public Service Commission exams, highlighting the importance of perseverance and integrity. The movie is based on Anurag Pathak’s bestselling novel, “Twelfth Fail”, based on the real life story of IPS officer Manoj Sharma and his wife Shraddha Joshi, an IRS officer.
