2.https://www.hockeycanada.ca/en-ca/team-canada/men/national/2017-18/world-championship/tv-schedule

Day 1:

Canada 4-5 USA (Shootout)

1.Huge win for USA, they played a decent game but, Keith Kinkaid was huge making 40 saves  that was the difference.Canada was not bad just could not get going against Kinkaid.

Next Games- Canada vs Korea Sunday 615am and USA vs Denmark Saturday 215pm

Russia 7-0 France

1.Russia dominated as expected, they did not give France any chance to win this game scoring 3 1st period goals

Next Games- Russia vs Slovakia Sunday 615am and France vs Belarus Saturday 1015am

Sweden 5-0 Belarus

1.Pretty much went as expected an easy win for the Swedes.

Germany 2-3  Denmark (Shootout)

1.Frederik Andersen was the difference for the Danes in a close game

Day 2:

615am-Switzerland vs Austria TSN 1  (Royal Bank Arena,Copenhagen)

Switzerland-Do not count the Swiss out, they have Nino Niederreiter and veteran goalie Reto Berra, they are not a top team but, they could give teams fits, and they have a legit chance to win here.

Austria-Home grown team lead by Goalie Bernard Starkbaum, I do not expect much from them Micheal Raffl is their only NHL talent, he played with the Flyers scored 13 goals in 76 game and Daniel Woger is one to watch

Prediction- 4-2 Switzerland, close game, Austria is overmatched

615am-Latvia vs Norway TSN 4 and NHL Network (Jyske Bank Boxen Arena, Herning)

Latvia-very young team lead by Kristers Gudlevskis in goal (Isanders minor league goalie in Bridgeport) they need big games from  Martins Culpis to have any chance

Norway-A very young and inexperienced team lead by Niklas Roest they need big games from him to have any chance of a quarterfinal berth

Prediction- 2-1 Norway, not much is known from either team

1015am-France vs Belarus TSN 1 and NHL Net. (Royal Bank Arena,Copenhagen)

France-They had an awful day 1 and will really need to play much better, luckily Belarus is a lower team than Russia, this game is winnable.

Belarus-They also had a  bad game, this game will show how good they actually are

Prediction- 3-1 France, I feel France is slightly better.

1015am-Finland vs Korea TSN 4 (Jyske Bank Boxen Arena,Herning)

Finland-This is the debut for the Fins, they are lead by Mikhail Granlund (Wild) and Miko Rantanen (Avalanche)

Korea-They are lead by Park Woo Sang, do not expect much from them, but, its nice to see something news

Prediction- 7-0 Finland

215pm- Czech Rep. vs Slovakia TSN 2  (Royal Bank Arena, Copenhagen)

Czech Rep.-The last 2 teams to make their debut in group A, the Czechs are lead by Flip Chytil who will be a star with the Rangers and goalie David Rattich of the Flames

Slovakia-Tomas Jurco is their only NHL Player from the Blackhawks

Prediction- 4-2 Czech Rep. better team wins a close game

215pm-Denmark vs USA TSN 4 and NHL Net.(Jyske Bank Boxen Arena, Herning)

Denmark-They had a great game over Germany, Frederik Andersen was awesome in goal but, do they have the talent level against a team like USA?

USA-Great win on Friday over Canada, they need not to overlook Denmark who will have the support (its Saturday night in Denmark) so they need to be smarter, one key is their defense needs to improve or they could be in trouble Keith Kinkaid will have a hard time doing that performance he did on Friday (40 saves)

Prediction-4-2 USA, better talent level than the Danes who will play well.
