NHL Scores 4/27

Rangers 1-2  Senators

Rangers-Horrid display by the Rangers,if not for Henrik Lundquvist this would have been worse, they also let the Senators control the game with the defense 1st system and to be Ottawa you have to win the dump and chase game and tonight that didnt happen.

Senators-They did what they do best, win a Low Scoring affair, they only had 13 and 9 shots the last 2 periods but, they make their chances count, they win but, not pretty.

Overall-Perfect Sens game, low scoring  Rangers only has 12, 11 and 12 shots while the Sens had 21, 13 and 9 shots, this is how alot of Senators’ wins are, low scoring and defensive.

Game 2- Saturday 3pm NBC and Sportsnet

Penguins 3-2 Capitals

Penguins-The quick start helped them, they got out to a 2-0 lead with 2 Quick Goals by Crosby and then held off a hard attack by the Capitals, who out shot them 35-21

Capitals-They played a much better game than the Pens, but, giving up 2 quick goals to Crosby a minute a part hurt them, I still feel they will d0 good this series as this was not a bad game by them, if they did not give up those 2 quick goals they probably would have won.

Overall- sluggish game, both teams had a total of 10 shots the 1st period (4 for Pens and 6 for Caps, and Washington’s mistake was 2 quick Crosby goals in the 2nd, other than that, their defense was good and they had 16 3rd period shots, just could not score on Marc-Andre Fleury, they will be fine, but, the Pens got luck and need a better offense as winning like this will not happen often.

Game 2- Saturday 8pm NBC and CBC

Friday-

8pm-Predators at Blues (NBCSN and CBC) Predators lead 1-0

1030pm-Oilers at Ducks (NBCSN and Sportsnet) Oilers lead 1-0
