Similarly to the last post (with the small bird sculptures), this Painting was an experiment with evoking emotion or reactions by the imagery which I created. When I did this painting I had been looking a lot at the work of Käthe Kollwitz, whos work has made a huge impression on my artwork. She had a way of creating such strong emotional imagery out of only a few black lines of a print or a quick sketch.
