Is A Live-Action Adaptation A Good Thing For Jujutsu Kaisen ?

Anime and manga being adapted to live-action do not seem to go hand-in-hand.
Production giants like Netflix have given it many attempts in the past, like with Death Note Live-Action film in 2017, but ultimately fail to no one’s surprise due to bad casting, story writing, unbearable CGI and change of plot from the original storyline.
A live-action cast of the Jujutsu Kaisen would be like stepping into a minefield, as this genre already has a negative image built up around it.

However, not all hope is lost yet, this coming August One Piece is finally releasing its live-action adaptation which they have been teasing for a year now. What makes it special is how the series will be overlooked by none other than the creator of the series, Eiichiro Oda.
If JJK is able to pull off something similar if it gets the opportunity to get live-adapted, it might just be successful.
