In other words, if I’m trying to determine how many room sensors I’ll need, do I need to get a room sensor for the same room as where the ecobee thermostat would be installed or will it double also as a occupancy sensor? E.g. if the ecobee thermostat is to be installed in the living room and I want occupancy sensing for a bedroom, office and living room (same room as thermostat), would I need 2 or three room sensors?
