Really gonna miss Josh.  They don’t tell you how lonely you feel in the pit of your stomach, knowing that one of your kids is leaving the house.  Even though I’m rarely around, enslaved to work since I’ve been a man, the idea of being “one short” at the dinner table, or at any family event, is heartbreaking.  We did it, though.  Petra and I successfully launched the first chick without so much as a ‘terrible two’ or a terrible teen stint!  In fact, we have never experienced a single rough patch with one of our kids, not even a moment that raised the needle on my scale.
