My dear friends,

As I sit down to write these words in my studio in here Southern Spain, I find myself reflecting on a journey that has been nothing short of extraordinary. I was born amidst the bustling vibrancy of London, my life unfolded amidst the euphoric rhythms of the 'Swinging 60s'. Those were the days of cultural revolution and artistic fervor, where I found myself singing melodies that echoed the spirit of the times, immersing myself in the music industry for a decade.

Yet, fate had its own plans for me. It led me to Brazil in 1978, where I embarked on a new chapter with my wife, Marcia. Brazil, with its rich tapestry of culture, became our home, and through the tumultuous 1980s, we nurtured our family amidst its vibrant colours and carnival rhythms.

But the call of my roots eventually beckoned, and in 1991, we returned to England, seeking to reconnect with the essence of who we were. It was a period marked by a relentless pursuit of creative expression, intertwined with the responsibilities of family life.

Retirement at the age of 70 brought about yet another chapter in my life's narrative. Marcia and I set our sights on the sun-kissed shores of Southern Spain in 2020, and it was here that my dormant creative spirit found its awakening. Raised by artistic parents, I delved into the world of abstract art, exploring its boundless realms with a sense of wonder and self- discovery.

What began simply as a retirement activity rapidly gained momentum, surprising me with its reach and impact. Today, at the age of 74, I find myself humbled and energised by the response that my abstract artwork has garnered. Collectors from Brazil, Spain, the United Kingdom, and beyond have embraced my art, each piece a reflection of a life deeply lived, a symphony of experiences and emotions transmuted into vibrant splashes of creativity.

Every day, I approach the canvas with a sense of anticipation, eager to explore new ideas, continue my obsession to paint the definitive "The Beast" and express my limitless abstract universe in ways that resonate with you, my friends and aficionados. Some paintings tell stories, while others make bold statements, but each one is a testament to the boundless possibilities of abstract art and the human spirit's capacity for expression.
