Here at Avatr, we are always out and about conducting street interviews, to gauge how people are feeling about the general state of play, the economy and their prospects in general.

When asked about their aspirations it is very sad to see that an overwhelming majority of you all, no longer have the level of ambition that you did a few years ago.

And why would you?

There hasn’t been any real sustained wage growth since we got off the gold standard in the 70s, everyone’s purchasing power has steadily declined…and the problem is getting worse by the day. It wasn’t long ago that common ratios of average house price to average house income were 3 to 1…with ratios now closer to 10 to 1.

Instead of increasing our income to match our dreams, many of us are reducing our dreams to match our income. If governments were going to fix this problem, it would have been done by now.

It is up to us to make different choices.

While there is no 100% panacea to the problem, Avatr can play a huge role in getting you in front of the curve and make your dreams believable again.
