According to the Comscore data, Leo has become the top-grossing movie worldwide this weekend, collecting a mammoth $48.542 million (Rs 402.89 Cr) at the global box office during the four-day weekend, outgrossing Leonardo DiCaprio‘s Killers of the Flower Moon, which earned $44 million, and Taylor Swift‘s concert movie, The Eras Tour, which made $41.5 million during the same period.

Leo has achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the fastest film to achieve the coveted Rs 400 crore mark in Kollywood. It has achieved this feat in just four days, bettering the previous best in Kollywood, Rajinikanth’s 2.0, which took six days to breach this mark. The film has broken several records and has become the second Tamil film to top the worldwide movie chart during the opening weekend after Vijay‘s Master. It has already become the second-biggest grosser of the year in Kollywood, beating Jailer (₹620 cr). Leo is just behind Vikram, Ponniyin Selvan 1, Jailer, and 2.0 from being crowned the highest-grossing film of all time worldwide in Kollywood. It is expected to be only a matter of days before Leo becomes the highest-grosser of all time in Kollywood.
