Let us tell you, Lakshya was released in the year 2004, which was directed by Farhan Akhtar. Apart from Hrithik, this film also had stars like Preity Zinta, Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani. During a recent interview, Pankaj Tripathi revealed that he had also worked in this film, but his scenes were deleted in the final cut.

Pankaj Tripathi said, “The news was published in the newspaper that I am in Lakshya and I was feeling bad because people who read the paper and did not see me in the film would have thought that I was lying. Cinema is a lie. We create a story and show it on screen. But in real life I avoid telling lies.” He further said, “Bihar ka Lal will be seen in the newspaper, but Bihar ka Lal is not in the film.”

However, if we talk about Pankaj Tripathi’s films, he has recently appeared in two films back to back. First he was seen in Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 and then in Fukrey 3. Both these films of his made great money at the box office. While on one hand OMG 2 has earned more than Rs 150 crore, on the other hand Fukrey 3 has earned more than Rs 93 crore in 25 days. However, Pankaj Tripathi’s fans have been waiting for his web series Mirzapur 3 for a long time.
