The highly anticipated documentary series House of Kardashian has finally set a United States premiere date.
The docuseries, which recently premiered in the U.K., will soon be available to stream on Peacock Starting Nov. 16.
House of Kardashian details the family’s meteoric rise to fame. Caitlyn Jenner is the only member of the family who chose to participate in the documentary, a decision she says she made because of how the family is typically represented in the media.
“I was happy to participate in the interview process to share my side which points to the strength, influence, and prowess my family has in captivating the world’s attention and keeping it over the years,” Jenner said in a statement to Variety. “I am incredibly proud of all my children and stepchildren.”
The docuseries chronicles everything from Kris Jenner‘s marriage to Robert Kardashian Sr., to Kim Kardashian‘s leaked sex tape and the reality series that put the family on the map.
The House of Kardashian trailer shows Jenner saying, “Kimberly calculated from the beginning, ‘How do I become famous?’”
Recent reports claimed the Kardashians were “not on board” with Jenner’s involvement in the three-part series, especially after Jenner revealed she and her ex-wife do not speak to each other much.
But Jenner has maintained that she chose to participate because it can be “very disappointing to see how they’re represented” in the media.
“When they approached me about doing this show, once I thought about it, I thought, ‘You know what? I want to get involved. I want to do my best to be very positive and really represent the family and the kids in a positive way,’” she said, though she added that she hasn’t spoken to the family about her involvement.
“I really haven’t talked with them about it. I’m kind of doing this on my own,” she told The Times of London. “I’ve been in the media for a long time. I know how the game is played.”
