90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Tejaswi “TJ” Goswami has not told his partner Kimberly Rochelle about a huge secret in season 5. Kimberly, a 30-year-old from Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and TJ, a 33-year-old from Jaipur, India, have an interesting backstory. The reality TV show stars were part of an online spiritual group where TJ first noticed Kimberly. While she wasn’t paying him any attention, TJ meditated using Kimberly’s profile picture. TJ claimed to have manifested her into his life. Meanwhile, Kimberly had a different connection with TJ even before she met him.

Kimberly had seen a man in a dream. It showed her with the man in the desert riding dune buggies. She didn’t see his face but knew it was a metaphor for the one she’d waited for all her life. Kimberly asked her spirit guides to help find him, and very long later, TJ reached out to Kimberly on social media. Kimberly spent a year in India on a student visa. She got engaged to him while she was there and moved to Jaipur for good on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Kimberly and TJ’s road to their marriage hasn’t been easy, but they got married in episode 16.

Kimberly & TJ Finally Got Married

TJ, the groom, felt like the luckiest person on Earth because he was marrying the love of his life. He rode a horse to the venue accompanied by a musical band and his family members dancing in the “baraat.” It was their family’s first big marriage, after all. TJ took a moment to complain about the bad dancers in his family, but he was still happy. Kimberly was again clueless about the ceremonies she had to participate in. But her stepmom, Lisa, and dad, Kurt, happily participated in the traditions. Kim, wearing a beautiful embroidered pink lehenga set, walked down the aisle with her dad as per Western tradition.

“You are the best part of the marriage looking so beautiful,” TJ told Kimberly. They exchanged flower garlands at the commencement of a Hindu marriage, got their photos clicked, and received gifts from their family. More rituals followed later at midnight as directed by their astrological charts. The final ceremony involved them making seven promises to each other by taking rounds around the holy fire, so Kimberly and TJ’s souls could combine. Kimberly complained about how long it was taking because a wedding in the U.S. wouldn’t have taken two days, six outfits, and many, many ceremonies.

TJ Didn’t Tell Kimberly A Huge Secret

The couple’s loved ones cheered for their happy union. It all started in a dream for Kimberly and TJ leading up to their wedding. Now, Kimberly’s new life in India began as a wife and daughter-in-law in an Indian family. The preview for episode 17 showed TJ’s mom leading Kimberly into their kitchen. TJ revealed that Kimberly had never been allowed to step into the kitchen, and he was excited for her to see what it felt like. However, TJ also added how, now that they were married, Kimberly was about to know her responsibilities in the household.

But Kimberly had no clue of what she’d gotten herself into. When TJ was introduced to 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewers, he said his family was very traditional regarding social norms. According to TJ, women in his family had to take care of the whole house. This included cooking and cleaning from the beginning of the day to the end of the day. The man had to go out and earn for the family. TJ had informed Kimberly about not cooking garlic and onion in their kitchen. Kimberly was not going to get any privacy either. Since TJ’s mom is growing older, Kimberly is expected to take over from her and do the household chores.

How Kimberly Will React To TJ’s Secret

TJ knew Kimberly’s thoughts and ideologies were American, and she wouldn’t change those after coming to India. He worried that this could cause a conflict with his family once they began living together. TJ decided not to tell Kimberly about the responsibilities coming her way before their wedding. But since he’s kept her in the dark about such a life-altering thing, TJ’s deception could make Kimberly rethink her decision to stay in TJ’s country. The mid-season trailer for 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 5 has shown Kimberly screaming and yelling her lungs out at TJ. Perhaps she thought TJ deserved it.

Kimberly’s married life with TJ seemingly never went as expected. Kimberly is shown crying about how alone she feels in India. TJ tells Kimberly that she can return to America if she wishes to because she feels alone. Amidst Kimberly’s screams, TJ asks her what she expects from him. Kimberly doesn’t calm down but instead screams at TJ, telling him that she needs a hug from him. Kimberly wants TJ to tell her that he is sorry. “I’m not doing that,” says TJ, and Kimberly says she knows he never will. “Because I am a ****?” asks TJ and adds that she shouldn’t yell at him because he is not her servant.

Kimberly Is Back In The U.S. (Did Kimberly & TJ Split?)

Kimberly may have felt cheated by TJ, who promised her a happily ever after but wanted her to do his household chores. Kimberly is a clairvoyant, claircognizant, and clairaudient and may have wanted to continue doing her work in India as well. Looking after TJ’s family’s needs may not have been on her agenda, but TJ is at fault for not telling her about it. Kimberly’s warning to TJ about returning home may not have been an empty threat. Kimberly’s Instagram reveals that she is indeed in America now while TJ is back home in India.

On October 8, 2023, Kimberly posted a video from a car where she told her followers on Instagram that she was going to play Bingo. Kimberly’s dad had a work event for friends and families. “Off to play bingo today with the fam,” Kimberly wrote in her caption. “Are you just home visiting? bingo rocks!” a fan commented. Interestingly, Kimberly had a surprising answer for the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewer and told them that she was just visiting America and was leaving next week, which means Kimberly could now be in India in real-time and is happily married to TJ despite their troubled relationship.
