Massive inferno near Putin’s dwelling house

Putin’s dwelling||On Thursday, another mysterious fire started in Russia, this time at a warehouse just four miles from where President Vladimir Putin lives. By midnight in Moscow, the fire had grown to cover an area of more than 21,500 square feet in a place called Odintsovo, which is to the west of Moscow. This information comes from the Russian state news agency TASS.

Since the invasion of Ukraine, there have been more than 100 major fires in Russia that nobody can really explain. This latest fire is the second one in just two days.

At the same time, in Ukraine, they’re saying that pieces of a super-fast Missile hit a children’s hospital in Kyiv on Friday morning.

People in the city heard four loud explosions, which were probably caused by air defenses trying to stop the missiles from doing even more damage.

The Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, shared on Telegram: “Parts of a rocket landed in one of our children’s hospitals in the city. Thankfully, nobody got hurt and nothing got damaged. The emergency teams are there to help.”

This missile attack happened after Russia bombed the Reikartz Hotel in Zaporizhzhia at 7:20pm local time on Thursday.

The country’s police mentioned that a missile called Iskander hit a hotel by the Dnipro River. Unfortunately, this caused one person to lose their life, and 16 others got hurt, including four children.

The Ukraine defense ministry shared on X (which used to be called Twitter): “The Reikartz hotel in Zaporizhzhia, where Russian terrorists attacked with a missile today, is a place where kids aged 6 to 13 come for a summer camp.”

Lots of journalists, people from the UN, and groups that help others also often stay at this hotel.

The Russian defense ministry said they aimed the missile at “foreign mercenaries” in that area.

As the news about the missile attack was unfolding on Thursday night, President Joe Biden asked Congress for an additional $24 billion (about £18.9 billion) to provide more help to Ukraine in terms of humanitarian aid, money for the economy, and extra security support.

If this gets approved, it would mean that the total assistance the US has given to Ukraine since the war started would go beyond $113 billion (around £88.75 billion).

Then, on Friday, in a part of Ukraine called Ivano-Frankivsk, a missile from Russia tragically ended the life of an eight-year-old boy, as reported by the local governor.
