2023 Is almost on end and  there were falls flat at the box office so here are the box office failures of 2023

1 Bhola

Cast -Ajay Devgan, Rai Laxmi, Tabu, Deepak Dobriyal. Tabu, Sharad Kelkar

After the success of Drishyam 2. Ajay Devgan tried his luck with another remake movie Bhola based on a Tamil movie Kaithi. As the original movie was available in Hindi dubbed. Bhola just managed to collect 100 Crores against its budget of 120 crores

Cast- Kartik Aryan. Kriti Senon, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy, Rajpal Yadav

After Ajay  Devgan, it was the rising superstar who tried his hand at a remake movie  Shehzada which is based on Allu Arjun Alla Venkapuramuloo but Kartik Aryan failed to match the style and swag of Allu Arjun and the movie fell flat by collecting just 30 Crores at the box office

Cast – Akshaya Kumar, Emran Hashmi, Diana Penty, Nushratt Bharucha

Was a remake of a Mulayam movie Driving Licence based on the topic of ego clash this movie was made with a  budget of 100 crores and collected 20 crores at the box office and was declared a flop

Cast- Prabhas, Kriti Senon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh

A Big-budget movie based on Ramayana made with a budget of 600 Crores and collected 136 Crores at the box office made this movie one of the biggest box office disasters of 2023  

Cast – Arjun Kapoor, Tabu, Aashma Bhardwaj, Konkana Sen Sharma, Radhika Madan

The movie was directed by Aashman Bhardwaj with a budget of 35 Crores and collected 5 Crores and declared a disaster at the box office

 Cast – Deepak Antani, Tanisha Santosh, Chinmay Mandelakar, Neela Muherkar, Mark Bennington, Vipul Deshpande

The movie shows a conflict between the thinking of Mahatma Gandhi and Nathu Ram Godse. Made with an interesting story but unfortunately. The movie flopped  by collecting 2.13 Crores at the box office   

Cast- Vidyut Janwal. Niharika Haizada, Vishal Jethwa, Danny Sura, Dilip Tahil

The movie is  set during the 1971 War thread from countries like China and Pakistan but the movie fails to attract viewers and collected 8 Crores at the box office against the budget of 32 Crores

Cast – Akshaya Kumar, Parineeti Chopra, Ravi Kishan, Pawan Malhotra

This movie was an official biopic of a mining engineer’ Jaswant Singh Gill who saved many lives during a rescue operation in raniganj, Despite having an inspiring story due to the average quality of VFX movie failed to impress the audience and was declared a flop by collecting just 50 Crores at the Box Office

Cast – Nana Patekar, Wamiqa Gabbi. Anupam Kher, Raima Sen

After the tremendous success of The Kashmir Files, Director Vivek Agnihotri, tried to make another hard-hitting movie on the topic of India’s first Covid Vaccine  but Vivek Agnihotri failed to create and the movie became a disaster at the box office collecting just 8.80 Crore in its lifetime

Cast-Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, Jassi Gill, Virender Singh

Even Superstar Salman Khan failed to attract the audience. His KKBKKJ collected 132 crores at the box office which was made with a budget of 175 crores

11 BHEED

Cast – Rajkumar Rao, Bhumi Pednakar Diya Mirza, Pankaj Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana,

Based on a serious issue like Covid 19. This movie was made with a budget of Rs 35 Crores and collected 2.10 Crores lifetime and declared a box office disaster

Cast – Kapil Sharma,  Sahana Goswami, RN Baisali, Shah Rukh Khan, Neelambari Bhattacharya, Tushar Acharya

Shows the struggle of a poor delivery boy and how he juggles his Job and family but the audience does not accept comedian Kapil Sharma in a serious role as a result the movie flopped at the box office by collecting 3.5 Crores

13 Gumrah

Cast – Aditya Roy Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, Vadika Pinto

Story of a criminal and how he was shocked when he found out about his Identical twin. the movie was made with a budget collected 2.5 Crores and was declared a disaster at the box office
