Elon Musk Welcomes Third Child with Singer Grimes
In a recent revelation, Elon Musk, the 52-year-old billionaire entrepreneur, announced the birth of his third child with singer Grimes. The news came to light through Musk’s newly released biography, where he also unveiled the baby’s unique name, Techno Mechanicus, or simply Tau.
The name “Tau” holds various meanings, including its association as the 19th letter of the Greek alphabet, the 19th star within a constellation, and a reference to a type of unstable subatomic particle.
The exact age of the newborn remains undisclosed.
Elon Musk, the owner of X (formerly Twitter) and the founder of SpaceX and Tesla, already shares parenthood with Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher. Their first child, Son X Æ A-Xii Musk, was born in May 2020, followed by the arrival of daughter Exa Dark Sideræl Musk in December 2021 through surrogacy. These siblings are affectionately referred to as X and Y, coincidentally matching the names of electric cars produced by Musk’s Tesla company.
Notably, the couple tends to announce the births of their children several months after the actual delivery.
It’s worth mentioning that Elon Musk, who has had an on-off relationship with Grimes, is now a father to 11 children. Sadly, he experienced the tragedy of losing his first-born child to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) when the child was just 10 weeks old.
Throughout his life, Musk has been married three times, twice to Westworld star Talulah Riley and once to Canadian author Justine Wilson.
