New Delhi: Dheeraj Sahu IT Raid: Congress Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Sahu’s statement has come out for the first time after the Income Tax raid. Dheeraj Sahu has said that the money recovered in the Income Tax raid neither belongs to Congress nor any other party. He is being defamed without any reason. 

‘Not mine, my family’s money’
Congress leader Dheeraj Sahu said that I have nothing to do with the money found in the IT raid. This is my family’s money. Our family is very big, this money belongs to my family members. Income Tax has not yet said that this money is illegal. It is too early to say anything about this money. Dheeraj Sahu met the media for the first time after the Income Tax raid.

Rs 351 crore were recovered
It is noteworthy that IT had raided Dheeraj Sahu’s residence in Ranchi. The raid took place under the family-owned liquor company of Odisha. In the raid, an amount of more than Rs 351 crore was recovered from Dheeraj Sahu’s house. Prime Minister Modi had also targeted Congress by tweeting the photo of money found in Dheeraj Sahu’s house.
