Sri muktsar sahib news: Muktsar SP Investigation Ramandeep Singh Bhullar, CIA Incharge Inspector Raman Kumar and Constable Harbans Singh have been arrested by the police in the case of detaining and torturing an accused lawyer in Sri Muktsar Sahib. The police have registered a case against six police personnel including SP and CIA in-charge inspector in this matter.

Today, a delegation of Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association met Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann regarding this matter . There, on September 14, the police of Sri Muktsar Sahib arrested the lawyer and his partner on the charge of disrupting the work of the police.

He was tortured in CIA custody – lawyer alleges

The lawyer has made a statement in the court and alleged that he has been tortured in the custody of the CIA. On the orders of the Muktsar court, a case has been registered against 6 policemen in this matter.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association is on strike for 2 days demanding the arrest and dismissal of accused police personnel.

Lawyers said that lawyer Singh Sandhu was picked up by the police and beaten up in the police station, after which he was sent to judicial custody. After this, they approached the association and told that they were treated inhumanely. After which he applied to the court and demanded to undergo medical again, after which 18 injuries of the lawyer have occurred in the medical conducted after the court orders. After all this, they demanded to register a case against the policemen in the court.
