His childhood was marked by endless hours spent perfecting his craft, mastering sleight of hand, and honing his skills as a magician.

Roy Horn, born Uwe Ludwig Horn on October 3, 1944, in the midst of bomb attacks, shared Siegfried’s passion for magic and the extraordinary. Growing up amidst the chaos of war-torn Germany, Roy found solace and companionship in the company of rare and exotic animals. His affinity for animals was undeniable, and he formed a unique bond with them that would later become a cornerstone of their iconic act. Roy’s childhood adventures with his beloved animal companions foreshadowed his future as one of the world’s most renowned animal trainers and performers.
