Governor Sule: Protests won't overturn a Supreme Court decision.

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, stated on Friday that protests against the Supreme Court's verdict affirming his victory in the March 18, 2023 governorship election would not alter the outcome.

He emphasized that the Supreme Court is the ultimate and final court, urging those who value democracy to accept the verdict gracefully.

Governor Sule urged the opposition to emulate the maturity exhibited by members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), who refrained from protesting when he lost at the tribunal.

Addressing the protest in Lafia, the state capital, he emphasized the need for understanding and respect for democratic processes.

Governor Sule, alongside Senator Abdullahi Adamu and Senator Tanko Almakura, visited President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa to express gratitude after the Supreme Court upheld his victory.

He commended President Tinubu for allowing the judiciary to function without interference and appreciated the role played in ensuring fairness and justice in the democratic process.
