In a commitment to position Anambra State as a hub for startups, Governor Chukwuma Soludo has sponsored Foris Labs, an Anambra-based startup, to participate in the TechCrunch Startup Battlefield in California, USA. 

Foris Labs, focused on gamified virtual science labs, was chosen among top startups globally for the competitive ‘TechCrunch Startup Battlefield 200’ event held in San Francisco. 

Soludo's administration aims to create the Solution Innovation District, envisioned as the Silicon Valley of Africa, fostering the growth of startups, digital tribes, and smart SMEs. 

The sponsorship of Foris Labs underscores the government's dedication to promoting technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the state through the Solution Innovation District, as stated by Chinwe Okoli, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Innovation and Business Incubation.

Anambra aims to inspire new ideas, incubate startups, nurture the digital tribe, and establish supportive startup laws for a robust innovation ecosystem, fostering global competitiveness and local job creation.
