The Enugu State Police Command has apprehended three individuals suspected of sexually assaulting a three-year-old student in Enugu. 

The arrests are part of an ongoing investigation into the molestation of the girl, who attends Tenderlink School in Trans-Ekulu. The suspects, including a teacher from the school and two others, are currently undergoing interrogation.

Preliminary findings reveal that the child exhibited signs of sexual molestation, with physical injuries and traces of blood on her private parts after being dropped off by the school bus on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. 

The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Kanayo Uzuegbu, commended the state government for closing the school pending the conclusion of the investigation, emphasizing that anyone found guilty would face legal consequences.
