In Kaduna, police apprehend two motorcycle snatchers.

Two suspected motorcycle snatchers were detained on Thursday in Kaduna State's Igabi Local Government Area, according to the state's Police Command.


The suspects were taken into custody on Wednesday, according to ASP Mansur Hassan, the command's Police Public Relations Officer, who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kaduna.


According to Hassan, police officers in the Rigachikun neighborhood of the Igabi Local Government Area apprehended one of the suspects on November 15 at approximately 1300 hours after receiving reliable information.


He stated that following a search at the suspected home, two pairs of scissors, a sharp knife, a half-bag of corn, a Boxer motorcycle, and two fetish charms were found.


Hassan reported that further items found in the suspect restroom included a green fingers bus stop RGC 36 cyclist vest.


He clarified that the suspect was unable to provide a plausible explanation for how he obtained the things when he was questioned.


According to Hassan, the case is still being investigated.


Additionally, he stated that the other suspect was taken into custody on November 15 at approximately 1400 hours for motorbike theft.


He stated that the suspect was apprehended by Kaduna State Vigilance Service (KADVS) agents at Kabeji Filling Station on the Kaduna-Zaria Expressway, Igabi, while attempting to pilfer a Jincheng motorcycle.


According to the spokesperson, the suspect had admitted to the offense and will face charges in court to face prosecution.
