According to Israeli sources, at than 1,400 people were murdered within Israel during the bloodiest attack in the nation's 75-year history, the majority of them were civilians.
According to the Hamas-run health ministry there, Israel's response has resulted in at least 4,300 deaths in the Gaza Strip, the most of them civilians.
Around 200 foreigners, many of whom also had Israeli citizenship, had their deaths certified by their national authorities, according to an AFP count.

According to the Russian embassy in Israel, which was cited by the official Ria Novosti news agency, 19 Russian-Israeli individuals have been verified killed.
Seven Russian nationals are missing, and two Russian-Israeli citizens are being held captive.
Ukraine: 18 fatalities
According to Yevgen Korniychuk, the Ukrainian ambassador to Israel, 18 Ukrainian citizens have been verified killed.
10 dead and one missing in Nepal
The embassy of the Himalayan republic in Tel Aviv confirmed that ten people of Nepal were slain in Kibbutz Alumim. A fifth person had lost communication, and four additional people were hospitalized.

According to police, the attacks claimed the lives of four Israeli-Austrians. One person has not been found.
China: Four killed, two unaccounted for
Four Chinese people were reported dead and two were missing on Monday, according to China's foreign ministry.
Philippines: Four killed and two unaccounted for
The attack on the music festival, which was only a few kilometers from the Gaza border, and the attack on the kibbutz both claimed the lives of four Filipinos, according to the foreign ministry of the Philippines.

According to Madrid, one of the hostages being held in Gaza is a Spanish citizen from the Basque region who is married to a Chilean woman.
Switzerland: One fatality
The attack on October 7 resulted in the death of an Israeli-Swiss national.
Turkey: One killed and one unaccounted for
A Turkish-Israeli citizen who had immigrated to Israel with his family in 1972 was confirmed dead on Friday by Ankara. One more wasn't there.
Germany: Several fatalities
Without providing an exact death toll, the German foreign ministry stated on Wednesday that a number of Germans were among the victims.
A spokesman for the foreign ministry stated, "Unfortunately, we have to assume that a single-digit number of German casualties have fallen victim to Hamas terror," meaning that the number was under 10.
One of the "eight known cases" of hostages being held by Hamas, which may involve multiple people, was mentioned by the government.
According to the spokesman, there are "a small double-digit number" of German nationals among the hostages.
Two hostages are held in Mexico.
Two Mexicans, a man and a woman, had been taken hostage, according to a social media post by the foreign minister, Alicia Barcena.
