The occurrence took place on a Tuesday morning, whereby the operator of a Toyota Sienna purportedly attempted to evade capture subsequent to breaching traffic regulations.
According to reports, the official from the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) encountered difficulties with the steering while attempting to apprehend the driver for a traffic violation at Okota Roundabout.

However, as stated by the Police spokesperson regarding the event, it was reported that two individuals tragically succumbed to their injuries, while two minors are currently Undergoing Medical care at the hospital.
"The aforementioned incident occurred when a motorist, attempting to evade the intervention of LASTMA officials who had apprehended him for violating traffic regulations by driving in the opposite direction, collided with a tricycle," the author stated on X.

According to Hundeyin, the expeditious deployment of police backup units to the location has successfully reinstated a condition of normalcy in the vicinity.
The individual further stated that an inquiry has been initiated into the matter.
