In the state's Kazaure Local Government Area, the Jigawa State Police Command stopped an armed robbery and detained fourteen individuals for drug use and vandalism.

Motor cars, cable wire, and illegal narcotics were found on the suspects, according to ASP Abubakar Isah, the command's deputy spokesperson, who made this announcement over the weekend.

The statement stated, "On September 29, 2023, at or around 0330 hours, Kazaure Police Station Received a distress call that hoodlums highly suspected to be armed robbers were spotted leaping through the barbed wire into the residence of one Bello Aliyu'm', age 28 years, of Yanmakada quarters, Kazaure LGA.

"After receiving the report, a patrol team from the Kazaure division quickly responded to the area. When the hooligans saw the Policemen, they fled, and the aforementioned Bello Aliyu was observed tied with a rope.

When questioned, he said that at around 02:30 a.m., four unidentified individuals crept into his yard, grabbed his car key for "A Mercedes Benz with registration number BWA 447 DA," and put several household items inside the aforementioned vehicle.

The following stolen items were left behind by the suspects as they fled: a car, a Samsung phone, a TV, two speakers, a DSTV receiver, a laptop, a Peugeot car key, two pairs of women's shoes, two hats, and some clothing.

The fugitives also left behind a jack knife, a steering lock, two touch lights, two pairs of rubber slippers, a rope, and a blue face cap with the word "commissioner" written on it.

The complainant bemoaned the continued disappearance of his Benz ignition key, one Tecno phone, and one Nokia phone. The pursuit of the evading criminals is being stepped up in every way.

Additionally, on September 20, 2023, at around 2:30 a.m., B/Kudu Police Station received a distress call claiming that eight undesirable individuals, who were armed with sticks and machetes, broke into Majestic Rice Mills Company, tied up the security guards with rope, and damaged armored cables.

Following the report's receipt, a team of police officers mobilized and hurried to the area, where they detained a suspect named Tanimu Adamu'm', age 28, of the Dangoro Kumbotso LGA in Kano State.

The remaining suspects left in the car to an unidentified location. They also found their vivo phone from the site, along with the cords that had been severed.

During questioning, the suspect admitted to the crime's commission alongside the fleeing suspects. Arresting the evading hoods is a high priority.

Then, raids were conducted at the divisional police headquarters in Bamaina, Kazaure, and Gumel. The following exhibits were found on the fourteen suspects who were detained during the raid:

One (1) bottle of "suck and die," one (1) rubber solution, one hundred and twenty-four (124) pieces of Exol tablets, sixty-five (65) raps of dry leaves thought to be Indian hemp, twenty-one (21) pieces of Diazepam tablets, twenty-one (21) pieces of D5 tablets, and twenty (20) pieces of tramadol tablets.
