I am fortunate to have encountered and enjoyed all of these aspects during my time here.

The experience of interacting with individuals from Nigeria has been quite positive, and the reception I have received has been exceedingly remarkable. I appreciate the notable observation that the Nigerians I have encountered exhibit a remarkable level of enthusiasm and fervor while discussing topics of personal interest and matters that hold significance to them.

The entrepreneurial spirit is readily apparent, and its presence is very inspiring, as one cannot not but be invigorated by it. The individual expressed gratitude for the opportunity to have encountered a remarkable assemblage of individuals thus far.

According to his account, throughout his limited duration in the nation, he got the opportunity to explore various captivating locations, including the seashore.

The individual expressed that they visited a beach and engaged in a period of tranquil contemplation, during which they immersed themselves in the literary work titled "Jagua Nana" by Cyprian Ekwensi, an esteemed author of yesteryears. This activity was really liked by the individual.

The diplomat expressed his enthusiasm upon receiving positive feedback and valuable recommendations from Nigerian individuals subsequent to sharing his thoughts on a social media platform.

Prior to assuming the position of British Deputy High Commissioner (DHC) in Lagos, Baxter held the esteemed role of His Majesty's Ambassador to the Republic of South Sudan from January 2021 to July 2023.

From 2018 until 2020, he held the position of Deputy Director within the Finance and Performance Department at the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (formerly known as DFID).

The individual in question has occupied several high-ranking roles at the Department of International Development (DFID).

The individual's professional experience encompasses various roles held at the DFID Headquarters in London. These positions entail serving as the head of the Human Development Department during the period of 2017-2018, fulfilling the role of Principal Private Secretary to the Secretary of State between 2014 and 2016, and assuming the position of head of the Higher Education Taskforce Secretariat from 2013 to 2014.
