BCCI has released the match details of the Indian Cricket Team (India Cricket Team) for the 2023-24 home season. On Tuesday evening, the BCCI released the details of the Matches and venues that India will play at home in the upcoming season. India will play a total of 16 international matches in the 2023-24 home season. India will play five Tests, three ODIs and eight T20Is.

Cricket lovers in Kerala are excited that Thiruvananthapuram Cricket Match has been allotted a match in the next home season. The second match of the T20 series between India and Australia will be held in Thiruvananthapuram. The fight will take place on Sunday, November 26. This is the first time that Australia is coming to play in Thiruvananthapuram.

So far three T20 matches and two ODI matches have been played at the sports hub at Kariyavattam in Thiruvananthapuram. While India won both ODIs and two T20Is played here, they lost only in the T20I match against the West Indies. India last played here in an ODI against Sri Lanka in January this year. The hosts won by a whopping 317 runs that day. In that match where Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill scored centuries, Mohammad Siraj was brilliant in bowling by taking 4 wickets. Thiruvananthapuram is also the venue for practice matches ahead of the ODI World Cup to be held this year. Teams including India will play here.

India’s new home season will begin with the ODI series against Australia in September. The second and third ODIs of the series, which will begin on September 22, will be played on the 24th and 27th respectively. The matches will be held in Mohali, Indore and Rajkot. This is the series that will be held just before the ODI World Cup.

Australia will visit India for a five-match T20 series in November. The first match will be played in Visakhapatnam on the 23rd and the remaining matches of the series will be played on November 26, 28 and December 1 and 3. The venues are Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, Nagpur and Hyderabad respectively.

Afghanistan will tour India in January 2024. India will play three T20 matches against them. Mohali, Indore and Bengaluru will host the matches on January 11, 14 and 17. The Test series between India and England will begin at the end of January. The five-match series will be played in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Rajkot, Ranchi and Dharamsala.
