Unlike in some countries where Hot Wheels are usually found in supermarkets, it is not the case in Singapore. Over here you could find them in toy stores, children stores, gift shops and collectibles hives.
Recently, I saw a few racks of Hot Wheels in an NTUC Fairprice Xtra, which consists of a supermarket at is mainstay plus limited range of other goods like electrical appliances, bedding stuffs, clothing, stationery, toys, crockery, cutlery, utensils and travel luggage.
While those few displays of rudimentary cars were nothing to shout about, it was nevertheless a welcome sight for anyone who has an eye for diecast cars.
Within the month though, I was pleasantly surprised that the inventory of cars has been expanded to include more Hot Wheels and other makes such as Matchbox and I am more than happy to be able to collect the following:
