When the stress of the job lands Bob in Woodward Memorial Hospital, due to a mild heart attack, he is immediately drawn to Abishola Adebambo, his kind, hardworking Nigerian nurse. Despite their differences, Bob falls in love with Abishola and sets his sights on getting her to give him a chance.

Episode 1: Bob, a middle-aged compression-sock businessman from Detroit, unexpectedly falls for his cardiac nurse, Abishola, a Nigerian immigrant, while recovering from a heart attack and sets his sights on winning her over.

Episode 2: While Bob waits for Abishola to make the next move, her Auntie Olu and Uncle Tunde make it hard for her by stalking him.

Episode 3: Bob attempts to learn more about Nigerian customs while Abishola has to contend with gossip spreading about her relationship with Bob.

Episode 4: After Abishola calls off things with Bob, her Auntie Olu sets her up with a Nigerian pharmacist, and Bob tries online dating.

Episode 5: After Abishola has a romantic dream about Bob, she tries to suppress her feelings for him and pays the price.

Episode 17: Abishola takes her relationship with Bob to the next level when she invites him into an intimate part of her life: church. Also, Kemi fights with Ogechi to be Chukwuemeka’s favorite.

Episode 18: Bob’s past and present collide when his ex-wife, Lorraine, is admitted to Abishola’s hospital. Also, Christina recruits Kofo for a project to rename the sock colors.
