Eligibility Requirements for AACR Research Fellowships in the USA

General Requirements:

•  Hold a medical degree in a related field
•  Applicants currently pursuing a doctoral degree are ineligible
•  Enrolled in an accredited oncology or haematology fellowship program within a US medical, research, or academic institution
•  No citizenship requirement
•  Non-U.S. citizens must possess a visa covering the fellowship duration
•  Membership in AACR (American Association for Cancer Research) is mandatory
•  If not an AACR member, a membership application should be submitted before the application deadline
•  Ineligible if employed by or subcontracting for a U.S. entity, or employed in the for-profit private sector
•  Clinical fellows applying from a US government laboratory are also ineligible

Johnson & Johnson Grant Specifics:

To be eligible for this grant, applicants must fulfill one or more of the following criteria:

•  Belong to racial or ethnic groups underrepresented in health sciences according to the National Science Foundation
