It is a matter of very old times, when there were no weapons like today.

Man had to face many difficulties.

He had to use sharp pieces of Stone to cut or peel anything.

It is a matter of that time, when man did not know about metal like Iron.

In those days there was a person named Khojiram.

Khojiram also did not like working with pieces of stone like other people. Just think – you have to dig a pit – dig it with a stone, you have to peel a vegetable – cut it with a stone. If you want to reap the fruits, peel them with a stone.

How difficult it must have been.

So Khojiram had a dream one night that he had found a heavy thing.

She is as strong as a stone, becomes soft when heated. On cooling, it becomes hard and strong as before. It was a metal, which we call iron today.

He woke up startled and started wondering where to get this strange thing?

The next day he got up early in the morning and went out to find iron. He asked the plants, do you know where to get iron? They said, ‘We will not tell.

If you get iron, you will cut us by making an axe.’

In this way he came to know that even trees can be cut with iron.

Then he asked the animals, ‘Do you know where iron can be found?

The animals said, ‘We will not tell. Otherwise, will you kill us with iron arrows?’

And thus he came to know that animals are also hunted by iron.

Khojiram kept going in search of iron. At last he reached the bank of a river. There were many stones lying there.

He was very tired. So sat on a big stone and started thinking.

While thinking, he was picking up the nearby stones and throwing them into the water. When he wanted to lift such a stone, he could not lift it.

It was heavy. Different from other stones. Khojiram picked up that stone and started towards home.

He thought, ‘This is a strong stone. Until iron is found, tools should be made by breaking it.

After coming home, he tried to break that stone, but it did not break.

When it was too late to try, he angrily picked up the stone and threw it into the fire burning nearby. He saw that the stone slowly started heating up and turning red.

When he shook it with a stick, it also felt soft. He shouted happily, ‘This is the thing of my dreams. Got iron. I have found the iron.’

Now Khojiram made some sharp tools out of it. He started cutting trees. Started killing animals.

By doing this, he started thinking of himself as the most powerful. But a large part of that iron stone was still left with him.

When he started misusing iron, the animals started getting scared of him. One day an elephant got very angry. He bounced the remaining iron stone away from his foot. The stone sprang so fast that it hit the moon.

There were pits in the moon and that stone broke into thousands of pieces. These pieces came back towards the earth and fell everywhere. Is this the reason why even today iron is found in most parts of the earth. is found. But man probably did not learn anything from this incident.

His killing of animals and cutting of trees continues even today.
