lucky paper – Kids Stories

Nana Nani’s stories

Payal was a lovely child studying in the first grade.

One day when she came out to get ready for school, she found a piece of Paper near the car.

Beautiful pictures were made on the paper.

She didn’t recognize much, yes one of them was Mickey Mouse too.

He looked around, no one was there. He thought looking through it would draw a picture of Mickey Mouse.

That’s why he kept that paper in his shirt pocket.

When she reached school, she needed a scale in the very first class.

He opened his box to take out the scale. What is this ?

She forgot to bring the scale. Her friend Amita often kept three to four cardboard scales with her.

He once got it free with a toy. Payal said to Amita-

‘I forgot to bring the scale today. Give me a cardboard scale, I will give you this beautiful paper in return, look at it!” He showed Amita the paper which he had received in the morning.

Amita liked the idea. There was a picture of Mickey Mouse on the paper. He took the paper in exchange for the scale.

Amita and Himani were sitting and eating food together during the lunch break. Himani had brought a big chocolate today.

Amita said to Himani, ‘Will you give me some chocolate? In return I will give you a beautiful picture. This is my Lucky Paper.

Himani loved lucky things. He gave a piece of chocolate to Amita in exchange for the paper.

Himani was roaming around with the paper. She was showing everyone her lucky paper.

Raju also saw her. He liked the pictures very much. He said to Himani, ‘Give me this paper. In return I will give you my story book.

Say, is it accepted?’

Himani found it beneficial. He said, ‘Okay’ and the paper reached Raju.

When it was a holiday, all the children came out to go home. Payal was on her way to her car, when Raju came running and said, “Wait Payal, can I walk with you today?”

‘sure why not.’ Payal spoke.

On the way, Payal showed Raju the stamps she had collected. Raju saw that Payal had some postage stamps, two each. He asked Payal, ‘Will you exchange this beautiful, lucky piece of paper?

Will you give me these two tickets? Anyway you have two each.’

Payal saw that it was the same paper which she had found outside the house in the morning. He took the paper in exchange for the ticket.

When she reached home, she saw that her parents were upset. Like looking for something.

“Where did you keep it?” Mummy spoke.

“Right here in your pocket. Was here till morning. Papa said.

Payal asked, ‘What’s lost mummy?’

“Son, papa bought tickets for all of us to the water park. It was a ticket worth a lot of money. Can’t find it now. Mummy told.

Payal remembered the morning paper.

“Look at this mom, I found this lying outside in the morning.”

He handed the paper to his mother.

Both parents said together, ‘Payal, you will get a special party today. We’ll go out to dinner in the evening, then swing and then ice cream and on Sunday the water park, okay.’

Payal couldn’t believe it, “The paper really got lucky for me.” She was thinking to herself.
